Magika Landing Page

Creating the first landing page of Magika Studio.
Magika Landing Page

A landing page is a webpage that pops up when someone clicks on a link in an ad. The main aim of the landing page is to persuade the visitor to do something, like signing up for a service or buying a product. We made a landing page for Magika Studio, a company that specializes in UI UX design, brand identity & logo design, and content design. To get started on designing the landing page, we first made a list of important elements for the page: 1. A clear button that tells you what to do 2. (Call-to-Action or CTA). 3. Just one thing to do: schedule a call. 4. TestimonialsInformation about the services and what's good about them. 5. Examples of the work they've done (portfolio).

With the list of landing page elements ready, we easily planned out the layout. Then, we started creating a visual representation of our plan using a design tool called Figma. Since designing is a process that involves going back and forth, it helped us re-think and improve our ideas. Sketching and creating a basic layout helped us decide which parts of the landing page were most important. Once that was settled, we moved on to designing the hero section. For the hero section, we chose a simple one-column layout with text on the left and an illustration on the right. We put the text on the left so that it follows a reading pattern that most people naturally use (like the letter "F"). This way, users quickly see the message. Plus, there's a clear button on the left with the text, making it easy for users to take action after reading the message.

As users scroll down for more info, they'll find Magika Studio's partners listed right below the hero section to build trust. After that, there's a section that tells about Magika Studio's services and what makes them great. This section helps persuade visitors even more. Next up is Magika's recent work or portfolio. We put this section after partners and services to reassure those who might still be unsure about scheduling a call. They can immediately see the quality of Magika Studio's work. Finally, there are testimonials and social proof. To make the design look good, we followed a simple rule called the "60-30-10" rule for the color palette. This means that 60% of the colors used should be a basic color, 30% show some texture or a secondary color, and 10% are used as accents. We went with white as the main color and black as the secondary color. The idea is to make Magika's work stand out clearly so that users can easily see it.

One important thing we learned from designing this landing page is that our decisions can have a big impact on how the business does and whether people take the action we want them to take.
