HarborStay is an independent portfolio concept. The villas, experiences, dining menu, and guest testimonials are fictional. The booking form is a sample interaction that stores no real reservation.
Behind the website
Design a warm, inviting website for a fictional boutique retreat with fourteen villas on a sheltered cove. The site needed to present each property, local experiences, and a full dining concept while making the booking path intuitive without feeling like a generic hotel booking engine.
Visual storytelling leads with villa photography, cove landscapes, and considered typography. Each villa has its own detailed page. Experiences and dining sections add depth beyond the booking funnel. The design maintains a consistent sense of place across desktop and mobile while keeping navigation simple and the sample booking form clearly labeled.
A native WordPress theme with structured content types for villas, experiences, and dining menus powers the site. All content is editable through WordPress. The sample booking form validates inputs and stores no real reservation. The live site passed route verification across 29 public paths with correct canonical HTTPS, intentional 404 handling, and isolated hosting.
